Newborn / Babies
It’s amazing how your world re-aligns when having a baby. At the center of it is this precious little person! Your newborn will change faster in the first few weeks than at any other point in his or her life. That’s why it is so important to capture these precious moments early..
Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting but beautiful. As a mother of three I know how overwhelming it can be. I have a beautiful collection of wraps, newborn outfits, props and backdrops available for your baby.
The best time to photograph baby is between 5 and 12 days. After two weeks, babies are harder to settle for photos and things like baby acne and colic can start. For baby’s comfort, I use only the safest techniques to find the best position while posing. Contact me at any time during your pregnancy to let me know your due date and we will make a tentative booking. After baby arrives, contact me to arrange your session day and time.

Newborn Only Session : $150.00
This session is purely focused on your newborn and takes place at my in-home studio located in Gettysburg Pa or our Studio in Greenville Pa. Access to my beautiful collection of wraps, newborn outfits, props and backdrops is included. Newborn Only Sessions are typically 2 hours long depending on baby’s needs. Sessions are baby led with plenty of time for feeding and comforting.
Digital images, are able be selected on your private online gallery You will receive 5 to 10 digital images on a flash drive mailed to your home .
Newborn & Family Session : $250.00

This session includes newborn, sibling and family photos and takes place at my in-home studio located in Gettysburg Pa or our Studio in Greenville Pa.
I will have a separate setup for family photos and additional setups available for your baby. Access to my beautiful collection of wraps, newborn outfits, props and backdrops is included. Newborn & Family Sessions are typically around 3 to 31/2 hrs long.
Sessions are baby led with plenty of time for feeding and comforting.

Safety First and Foremost
We are all about safety first..If you've ever done a newborn session with me, you've probably heard me say something along the lines of "I can't guarantee froggy but I will try my best". Some babies just don't get into a deep enough sleep for this pose to be done safely. I can't count how many times parents have said they just thought baby balanced themselves. As an experienced newborn photographer, I can tell you I've never met a baby who had balancing skills at 9 days old.

Did you know that baby's blood flow and airway could be compromised if done incorrectly?
It is very common for new photographers or moms who want to DIY their newborn session to attempt this advanced pose without any knowledge on the behind-the-scenes, which leaves babies completely un-supported.
I know there are some very experienced photographers who refuse to attempt the froggy pose for safety reasons, and that's totally okay! It is also totally okay to perform this pose when done safely. It is personally one of my favorites! If you want to photograph your own baby in this position at home, shadowing an experienced newborn photographer, attending a hands-on workshop or taking an online newborn photography safety course are all great ways to learn how to properly perform froggy. We Pride ourselfs on our Yearly Education hands on safety newborn workshops. Sometimes investing $500.00 plus per class three times a year, but we feel that New Born safety is most important.
